ABOUT YOUR EXPERT PRESENTERS

KEITH BARENDS is a Chartered Human Resource Practitioner with the South African Board of Personnel Practitioners and has trained many employment equity committees to compile transformation strategies, design and develop EE policies and utilise practical tools to submit compliant equity reports. Keith facilitates Employment Equity transformation through accredited Labour Relations Management programs to both government and private institutions. He consults to a number of companies in different sectors where Best Human Resource Practices inform equity standards to be implemented. Keith guest lectures at the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town and the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.

WARREN P. CHARLES, is a qualified Industrial Psychologist with the HPCSA, a Chartered Human Resource Practitioner with the South African Board of Personnel Practitioners and has more then 10 years relevant HR generalist experience. He has successfully in the past as HR Manager in the companies he has worked for, compiled Employment Equity Plans, submitted annual Employment Equity Reports, and has trained, Employment Equity Forum members on the Employment Equity Act and transformation interventions. He manages his own HR Consulting firm, and is also a guest lecturer at Cape Peninsula University of Technology for their Diploma and B.Tech students.
